Probably the best car wash I’ve found in Johnson County so far. I haven’t found anything better, so 5 stars from me. The touchless automatic wash is the main reason I keep coming back. It does a good job, it’s quick, and most importantly, no brushes touching the car. The self-service wash is great too. They have a good selection of soaps and different wash options. The only thing I really wish they had is compressed air and some kind of dryer for the self-service bays. That would make a huge difference. My only other complaint is that a couple of times I drove away without realizing the timer was still running. I didn’t completely finished wash by “stop” button and it was just on pause “stop”, so I ended up with charges around $50 and $70. Obviously that was my mistake

The quarters weren't working & they promptly refunded my money & gave me a free wash, thx! Great customer service!

Very reasonable in price. Very good cleaning solutions. Includes the use of a hand sized small wand, large pressure wand and a scrubbing brush. There is a machine to get quarters from bills up to $20 bill. $3 for 2:54 minutes of washing/rinsing. I did a pre-soak, with lots of deep cleansing soap then a cycle of the brush with cleaning foam, then a high pressure wash cycle. Between these cycles make sure to turn the cycle selector to "STOP" otherwise the trigger will be locked up on your next cycle and it won't due what you want it to do. Vacuums are $2.00 i think for 3 minutes - I actually dont remember. There was Vaccum and Fragarence machines which has an extra hose to apply fragrance probably like fabric fabreeze. I was cleaning up a narrowed cargo van. It looked great when finished. If I could of fit in an auto washer I would have done it. This rig had a high roof so it wasn't an option. Trucks with high lift kits would fit with room to spare.

First time using this place. My regular car wash was closed due to cold weather so I was pleased Xcel was open. The place is well maintained and clean. I use the self serve wash bays. Chemicals work well, water was hot and pressure is really good. I was very happy with the way my truck turned out but the price was high; I was there 5 min and it was just under $10. It was really dirty and other washes were closed so it was worth it but I can't make this my regular wash place.

Excel Car Wash is a great spot if you like doing a manual wash yourself. They have 10+ self-serve pressure wash bays and plenty of high-power vacuums, so it’s easy to pull in, clean the car well, and not feel rushed. The equipment is strong, everything worked smoothly, and the place is kept clean. I did have an issue where my card was accidentally charged $25 instead of the normal small amount because I didn’t complete the final step on the machine — totally confusing. I called the owner, explained what happened, and he was very honest, respectful, and quick to help. I texted the last four digits of my card and details, and he refunded the amount within a few hours. Great car wash, great setup, and excellent customer service from the owner. I’ll definitely keep coming back here.
